Cottage Layout

Our seven beautiful suites are all situated on the ground floor. We have done our best to make Daisybank Cottage and the adjoining Gardener's cottage as accessible as possible, whilst making sure the style and luxury is never compromised.

There is disabled parking available at the front and the at the back of The Cottage. There are two steps at the front door, both 6 inches high. We have a ramp, which can be used easily at the front and/or the back, please ask if you would like to use it.

In The Courtyard Suite there is a small step from the bedroom to the courtyard and into the wetroom (approximately 1 inch high).

In the Solent Suite there is a small step approximately 1 inch high into the wetroom.

In The Marryat Suite there is a small ledge (approximately 1 inch high) to the terrace.

In the Brightiff Suite there is a step approximately 12 inch high into the bathroom.

The Dandelion and Burdock suites are in the Gardener's Cottage and there is a step at the entrance approximately  6 inches high to both rooms.

Please ask us if you would like to use our disabled shower seat.

Wheelchair Access

The doors throughout the Cottage are wide enough for most wheelchairs. Our daughter occasionally uses a wheelchair, which is 54cm wide. She has absolutely no problem accessing any of the rooms or Breakfast Room, however, not all the ensuites have full turning space.  The Brightiff Suite ensuite is not suitable for disabled access.

We are a disabled-friendly Boutique Bed and Breakfast, however we are not a Fully Disabled Establishment. If you need any more information or discuss your personal requirements, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.
